Cressvale Neighborhood began in 2019 as a place for residents to trade practical information that was getting lost across group texts and paper bulletin boards. It was run by local volunteers and was not part of the county government, a campaign, a news organization, or a civic group.
The board included countywide topics as well as conversations from Brackenmill, Wrenfield, Harker’s Ford, Talley Ridge, Sable Creek, North Cressvale, Merehaven, Juniper Crossing, and Redfern. Members chose their own usernames. A username did not establish a person’s identity, qualifications, location, or connection to a business.
What this archive contains
This copy preserves a small set of topic pages with usernames, dates, replies, edits, and moderator notes. Some long threads are condensed, with the opening post and selected later replies retained. Counts reflect the complete topic at the time it was archived.
New accounts, posts, private messages, reactions, searches, and transactions are unavailable. Nothing submitted here is collected or sent anywhere.
Moderation and independence
Volunteer moderators applied the posting rules. They could remove personal information, move duplicates, or lock a thread. They did not verify every member claim and did not select links for a sitewide resource list.
The board had no official relationship with any campaign, candidate, county department, publication, voter guide, or advocacy organization. Links visible in a topic were supplied in the text of a member’s post.
